Dear Diary,

    Today, I woke up around 5:30 AM. I made some prayers and had some breakfast. I had bread and cheese today. I had to go an exercise to improve my judicial powers over serfs and other vassals after I ate breakfast. With the spare time, I focused on music. I had weapon practice afterwards. Then, I had some mid-morning meals and prayers. I ate porridge and vegetables. I had some fun time by hunting! I really like hunting. After hunting, I will eat the animals that I hunted. I hunted some deers and geese. I made an evening prayer and had supper. Then came the entertainment. Today, we watched the jesters. And as night falls, it was time to sleep. I made some bedtime prayers. Afterwards, I went to sleep

Dear Diary,

       Today, I woke up around 5:20 AM. I prayed this morning right after I wake up. Today, I ate some bacon, lamb and chicken for breakfast. After I ate, I attended business maters that are related to my land. Today, there were no problems and everything was OK.  In the afternoon, I did some weapon practice and afterwards, I had a mid-morning meal. I ate some porridge and vegetables. Subsequently, I went  hawking. I made some evening prayers in the manor, At supper, I ate lots of fish like salmon and other fresh water fishes. I also ate some dairy products like cheese. Then came the entertainment. We saw some acrobats today. I felt tired so, I made some bedtime prayers.. Then, I went to sleep.

Dear Diary,

    I would like to give some information about me. I am a lord, as you know it. I was given a land from the king called a fief. I had nearly total authority. I am the judge and the jury in dispute between my various vassals. I live in a castle or a manor house. It was usually cold at night. My job is to improve the land for example; I deal with the taxes, crops, etc. Hunting is the main source of the dining table. I was often surrounded by grandeur and finery. I have my own room in the castle with a bed and expensive chests for my clothes. I also have fine clothes with decorative belt buckles and other jewelry. In addition to this, I have servants to wait on his every need. I have people to dress me when I got up. I also wore perfume and kept herbs in my room to make it smell nice. 

Dear Diary,

   Today, I woke up around 5:35 AM. I prayed after I woke up. I wore a tight waistcoat, some kind of short dress & which the sleeves were slashed, a hat and various jewels. My shoes are armed with long metal points. I had some stew and meat pies for breakfast. Today's meeting was about the taxes. We higher the tax because we needed more money to improve our land. I had some time afterwards to make a poem. Then, I headed to weapon practice. After weapon practice, I went hunting. It was a fun thing to do and will surely eat the creatures that I hunted. I prayed in the evening and ate supper. I ate the animals that I hunted such as deer, goose, and boar. I also ate some meat that were seasoned with expensive spices only a lord could afford. I had entertainment after eating. I saw a juggler and he was great! I was sleepy, so I prayed before bed and slept.

Dear Diary,

    Today, I woke up around 5:30 AM. I prayed this morning, too. The first meal of everyday is breakfast. Today, and as always; I ate three fish dishes, three meat dishes, some white bread, and ale. After I ate, I attended business maters that are related to my land. Today, we had a problem with our crops. There weren't enough water and rain for the crops for this month. So, I gave them a solution to use groundwater.  In the afternoon, I did some weapon practice and afterwards, I had a mid-morning meal. I ate some porridge and vegetables. Subsequently, I inspected the estate. I made some evening prayers in the manor, At supper, I ate lots of meats, fine, white bread, and small amounts of vegetables and fruits. I also consumed honey. Then came the entertainment. We saw people dancing today. I felt tired so, I made some bedtime prayers.. Then, I went to sleep.
